Serene Light is an exceptionally high caliber soundset with a massive 282 patches and 1GB of unique sample content for the exquisitely beautiful synth Diversion, by Dmitry Sches, and is suitable for use in any type of contemporary electronic music productions. There are also over 50 unique wavetables included which are embedded in the preset file. As always, each time I dig into this wonderful synth, I walk away with time well spent. Diversion will always have a special place in my heart, as it was the first synth I made presets for.
Serene Light stands out from the other banks primarily due to massive amount of presets, all stunning, and no fillers. Furthermore, unlike other banks, I explored adding my own wavetable this time around which turns out surprisingly good for some snappy bass plucks. The quality of the samles have also taken boost. Best of all, the price is not premium.
Serene Light takes absolute full advantage of Diversion as a hybrid synth/sampler, utilizing its many different live synthesis methods and its ability to import wave samples and wavetables. Nearly half the patches use wave samples to enrich the synths rich sound with noise samples, adding real world texture to synthesis. Getting creative with looping in the samples also allows for psuedo wavetable type affects which I've encorporated in many of the basses, which are suitable for progressive trance, psy trance, or any type of dance genre with short snappy 16th note basslines.
Furthermore, nearly all of the patches are assigned to the Master Morph section in the center screen of the gui, to further enhance playability and add extra dimensions to the sound.

The Serene Light Soundset can be used in any variety of electronic music, on the whole, while it is also quite suited for the genres: Progressive Trance, Psy & Goa Trance, and the other more chillout, ambient type of genres such as: Psybient, Ambient, Chillout Etc. A lot of the patches strike a balance between beauty and timelessness, and thus perfectly genre-less, such as the Pads, Atmospheres, and Sound Scapes . The leads on the other hand are crated more for the exotic, harder edge style of genres, with extensive modulations and smooth goa trance style legato's and sliding plucks, perfect for Progressive Trance and Psy.

I have one of your Thorne libraries so far and really loving it. Lucky me, i own Omnisphere2 as well, so this one will be a no brainer instabuy. It's clear that you know, what you do. Quality electronic sounds with strong feel of heritage of all the great psychedelic vibes and also a unique step up, modern approach. I like how complex most of the patches, let be an arp or a texture. It's inspirational. Nowadays the market is full with the same old stuff over and over, but Touch The Universe truly is an oasis nowadays. Congratulation and PLEASE KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!
